Celebrating the Woman You’ve Become…Even If You’re Not ‘There’ Yet

Maybe this year didn’t go how you planned.
Maybe there were detours. Delays. Disappointments.
Maybe you’re still healing. Still figuring it out.
Still becoming.

But here’s what I want you to know:

You are allowed to be proud of the woman you’ve become—even if you’re still becoming.

Growth Doesn’t Always Feel Like Progress

Sometimes growth looks like:

  • Walking away quietly when you used to argue

  • Saying “no” even though your voice shakes

  • Crying, resting, then getting up again

  • Taking a break instead of quitting completely

You may not be “there” yet—but look at how far you’ve come.

4 Ways to Celebrate the Woman You Are Right Now

1. Make a “Look How I Handled That” List

List the hard moments you moved through this year.
Not perfectly—but with growth, grace, or grit.
That’s transformation.

2. Thank Past You

Write a note to the version of you who:

  • Chose herself

  • Set the boundary

  • Kept going

Tell her: “You got me here. I’m so grateful for you.”

The EmpowerHer Mindset Workbook includes reflection pages to look back, thank yourself, and anchor into everything you’ve learned this year.

3. Let “Good Enough” Be Worth Celebrating

You showed up—even when it was hard.
You didn’t give up on yourself.
That is enough to be proud of.
That is worthy of celebration.

4. End the Year With a Love Letter to Yourself

Not a to-do list. Not another goal.
A letter full of compassion, softness, and awe.

Start with:
“Dear Me, I’m proud of how you…”

Pause + Reflect:

What’s one moment from this year you want to honor—no matter how small?

Take 5 minutes to write about it. Light a candle. Play a song.
Celebrate the woman you are—not just the one you’re becoming.
