Here’s how to start telling the difference:
1. Intuition is calm. Insecurity is chaotic. Your intuition doesn’t yell. It doesn’t spiral. It delivers a quiet, grounded truth. If your internal voice feels frantic, full of urgency or fear—it’s likely insecurity.
2. Intuition is about protection. Insecurity is about avoidance. Intuition might urge you to slow down, say no, or walk away—but always in the direction of your peace. Insecurity, on the other hand, tries to keep you small and "safe" by avoiding discomfort.
3. Intuition leads with clarity. Insecurity leads with confusion. When you sit with your feelings, does clarity rise, or do you feel more unsure? That difference is your emotional compass.
