Mid-Year Check-In: Reflecting and Realigning Your Goals

We’re halfway through the year—can you believe it? This is the perfect time to pause, take a breath, and check in with yourself. You don’t need to wait for a new year to start fresh. You can restart right now.

Why Do a Mid-Year Check-In?

Think of it like looking at a map. Are you still heading where you want to go? Or do you need to take a different route? Reflecting helps you stay on track—and realigning helps you move with more purpose.

Step 1: Reflect Without Judgment

Grab your journal and ask:

  • What goals did I set at the start of the year?

  • What progress have I made?

  • What felt good—and what didn’t?

This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being honest. You’re growing, and that matters.

🌿 Use the Gratitude Journal to write down your wins—no matter how small. You’ve done more than you think.

Step 2: Adjust Your Goals

Your goals can change. Maybe some don’t fit anymore. That’s okay.

Ask:

  • What do I still care about?

  • What do I want to focus on now?

  • What can I let go of?

Real growth means adjusting when needed—not pushing through just to prove something.

Step 3: Choose One Focus

Don’t try to do it all. Pick one thing that will make you feel proud at the end of the year. Is it showing up for yourself more? Saving money? Saying “no” more often?

One strong focus leads to better follow-through.

Step 4: Set Intentions, Not Just Tasks

Instead of just listing things to do, write how you want to feel:

  • I want to feel calm and centered.

  • I want to feel proud of my growth.

  • I want to feel confident saying “yes” to what serves me.

Intentions give your goals meaning.

Let’s Talk:

What’s one thing you want to focus on during the second half of the year? —we’re rooting for you!
